Baked goat cheese & jammy tomatoes

Step up your appetizer game with this sweet & savory combo.

What's better than a cheese plate? A cheese bowl! Mix up your charcuterie board by tossing that goat cheese into the oven alongside sweet roasted cherry tomatoes and zesty red pepper jelly. Serve with crostini, crackers or a fresh baguette!

Ingredients

  • 1 packet goat cheese (preferably herbed such as rosemary & thyme, but choose whatever you like!)

  • Handful of cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ~1 tablespoon red pepper jelly

  • ~1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Prep and cook crostini, if using (cut baguette into slices, coat in oil, and cook ~10 minutes).

  3. Place goat cheese into a small oven safe bowl (like one used for french onion soup!)

  4. Surround goat cheese with halved cherry tomatoes.

  5. Bake for ~30-45 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and top with red pepper jelly, olive oil, and sea salt to taste.

  7. Serve with crostini, crackers, or fresh baguette - and of course a glass of wine!
